Anka Reinke
Anka Reinke (mezzo-soprano), born at Bremerhaven in 1966.
At the age of seventeen she started to study classical singing by Waltraud Mink (Staatstheater Bremerhaven), first concerts in churches as a soloist followed.
In 1986 studies with Marianne Spicker Henke (university of Bremen) broadened her knowledge.
1989 she begun studies at the university of Oldenburg to become teacher for music and German (1993 first examination), during this time she gave a lot of churches concerts (Bach, Telemann, Mozart, Mendelssohn).
1992 correpetition and lessons by Peter Vettermann (Staatstheater Oldenburg).
1999 she finally decided for singing and quit her job at school. Instead of she gave private vocal and piano lessons.
Since that time she has sung in different ensembles: e. g. "grupo algeria" (the interpretation of spanish vocalmusic by Garcia-Lorca, Manuel de Falla), she begun to work ducts from opera and Lied with Karl Wolfgang Klingler (bariton) and Martin Meyer (piano).
She gives her own concerts including different programs e. g. Italian and French arias, german Lieder by Schubert, Richard Strauss and Alban Berg.
